2015 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN IS UNDERWAY!

THE ANNUAL CAMPAIGN IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MEMBERS OF THE PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY BOARD TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO THE FOUNDATION THAT WILL DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE 150,000+ GEORGIANS LIVING WITH EPILEPSY. BELOW YOU WILL FIND A LETTER FROM THE 2015 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN CHAIRPERSON, MARK ROBINSON WHO SERVES AS THE A VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE BOE. THIS YEAR WE HAVE A GOAL OF $60,000. ONE THAT WE ARE CERTAIN THAT WE CAN SURPASS WITH YOUR SUPPORT. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK MARK FOR HIS TIME AND EFFORTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL CAMPAIGN!

Dear Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia Board and PAB Members,

As the chair of the 2015 Annual Campaign and the Board President Elect, I want to thank you for your generous support of the foundation both financially and with your valuable time. With contributions from board and PAB members like you and through the fundraising efforts of our excellent staff, the EFGA is on sound financial footing through the rest of 2015.

As we look ahead to 2016 we have an opportunity to structure our annual campaign so that it both enhances our ability to bolster the foundations finances and gives you the flexibility and convenience to plan your contributions when they best fit your own financial needs.

I have met with Bonnie, Pam, and Kathleen about making some changes to the way we conduct the annual campaign. We will have time to discuss these in board meetings, but we thought it would be helpful to give you a preview first.

Here are the ideas:

•Let’s start and finish our annual campaign at our the kickoff meeting. We all know we are going to give our financial support and no one likes to get or make contribution calls. We will make it easy by having confidential pledge cards available for you to make your pledge. Our goal is to have all the pledge cards back during the meeting and the campaign will be concluded in one session.

•We want you to have the flexibility to make your contribution work for your financial situation. Therefore we will have the ability to bill you for your pledge any month of the year. We will be able to make installment charges on your credit card if you wish to split your contribution over 12 months. We will have multiple options for you to contribute at the best schedule for you.

•We will introduce the idea of suggested contribution amounts for you to consider. We greatly appreciate your generosity. Could you afford to increase your contribution if we gave you some more flexibility?

As always any contribution is appreciated, but if you can increase your support, we can do more to ensure the EFGA is around to help people with epilepsy for years to come. Thank you your past (and future) support and I look forward to speaking with you at our upcoming meeting.
