chloeI have epilepsy and so does my sister. My parents urged me to get involved in the foundation, and since then I have been very involved in advocacy for people with epilepsy. I even got to go to Washington, DC to the Kids Speak Out conference as the representative from Georgia. My hope is that through the Youth Council we can reach out to schools and youth centers to educate other kids about epilepsy. The more kids know about this condition the less misunderstanding there will be.
