EFGA is dedicated to raising awareness for epilepsy every day, in November we take advantage of National Epilepsy Awareness Month and would like to encourage all of you to get involved!
How has epilepsy effected you? Know that you are not alone, read stories from other people who have gone through much the same as you. Whether it be someone with epilepsy, the parent of a child with epilepsy, the child with a parent who has epilepsy, a friend, loved one – you are not alone in this.
EFGA wants you to know you are not alone. Epilepsy is more common than most people realize and it is our mission to increase awareness for epilepsy and seizure disorders, erase the stigmas and provide an outlet for those who are effected.
There are lots of ways to help increase awareness, hosting an awareness event in your community is a great way to start. Purple day at your school or workplace, distributing purple ribbons, getting your favorite restaurant to host a dining out night – the sky is the limit! Learn more about holding an event in your community by contacting us.
