Tee Off Against Seizures

The Georgia Affiliate will be teeing off against seizures on Monday, November 3, as it holds its' 1st Annual Invitational Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place at the Settindown Creek Golf Course of Ansley Golf Club in Roswell. Settindown Creek is a very challenging course, as it has hosted the 2008 U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier, the 2008 Georgia Amateur Championship and the 2005 U.S. Women's Championship.

The tournament format is 4 member amateur teams competing in a Captain's Choice/Scramble. Prizes will be awarded to top 2 gross and top 2 net teams. The maximum handicap for men is -25, and for ladies -28. Competitors will have the chance to win a 2008 Land Rover Sport HSE with a Hole-In One! Additional contests include a Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin competition. A Silent Auction will be held throughout the day and will close at the end of the Awards Reception.
